Parker Trails
Parker Parks and Recreation maintains 27-plus miles of concrete paved, multi-use trails throughout the Town, as well as 6-plus miles of natural surface equestrian trail along Cherry Creek and a 1.8-mile natural surface, multi-use loop trail in the Idyllwild area. Parker Parks Highlights
Auburn Hills Community Park – 11682 Bradbury Ranch Dr.
Auburn Hills Community Park has a unique interpretive and educational area, which incorporates six educational stations: a butterfly garden, weather station, plant life cycle, Colorado wildlife and geology, astronomy and outdoor amphitheater seating area for class lectures.
Discovery Park – 20115 E. Mainstreet
With interactive fountains in the summer, a vibrant ice trail in the winter, and performances and events throughout the year, Discovery Park is a four-season community gathering place.
O’Brien Park – 10795 Victorian Dr.
Located on Mainstreet near downtown Parker, O'Brien Park's iconic gazebo serves as the backdrop for many Parker events and memories. This park includes a large playground, softball field, multipurpose field, basketball court and shares a parking lot with the popular H2O’Brien Pool.
Railbender Skate and Tennis Park – 10533 Twenty Mile Rd.
Railbender Skate and Tennis Park is a unique destination with amenities that include a 36,000-square-foot lighted skate park, six lighted tennis courts, a children's playground and serves as a trailhead for the Cherry Creek Regional Trail.
USMC CPL David M. Sonka Dog Park and Westcreek Disc Golf Course – 17855 Pine Ln.
The Town of Parker's dog park is named for Corporal David M. Sonka who graduated from Chaparral High School. In 2013, Corporal Sonka and his military working dog, Flex, were killed in action in Afghanistan. The dog park features nearly five acres of off-leash space with shade structures, drinking fountains, small dog area and an agility course. The Westcreek Disc Golf Course is located adjacent to the dog park and includes 18 holes designed with assistance from local enthusiasts and experts.

Parker Parks and Recreation Run Series
The Parker Parks and Recreation Run Series features four popular events each year. The fun kicks off with the Love ‘em or Leave ‘em Valentine’s Day 5K/10K and Kids’ Dash in February at Bar CCC Park. The western-themed Cattle Crossing 5K and Family Fun Trek kicks off the summer in June at Tallman Meadow Park. The So Long to Summer 5K/10K and Family Fun Trek caps off the warm weather season in August at Salisbury Park, and then the Turkey Day 5K is the big, fun finale on Thanksgiving Day at the Parker Recreation Center. Parker Parks and Recreation Facilities
The Parker Recreation Center, located at 17301 E. Lincoln Ave., is a state-of-the-art facility, which includes an auxiliary gymnasium, a triple gymnasium, a children’s party room, classrooms, two fitness studios, one cycling studio, multi-purpose rooms, cardiovascular and circuit equipment, multi-station and free weights, child care, and an indoor pool area that includes lap pool, therapy pool, sauna, activity pool with zero-depth entry, lazy river, water slide, aquatic climbing wall and play structure. A full range of adult and youth programming is available.
The Parker Fieldhouse, located at 18700 E. Plaza Dr., offers 100,000 square feet of action and excitement! Sports turf, batting cages, gymnasiums, inline rink with Sport Court flooring, climbing wall, elevated track, fitness loft and personal training make this building popular with sports enthusiasts of every age and ability level. Many of Parker Recreation's youth and adult sports leagues take place at the Fieldhouse.
Parker Parks and Recreation Barker Days
This exciting Parker Parks and Recreation event welcomes hundreds of dogs with their owners, and features a temporary dog park in the O’Brien Park ball field and H2O’Brien Pool, and dog-related vendors on the Saturday following Labor Day each year.
