Cheers!

The greater Cedar Park area includes several hotspots for unique craft beers and wines from the Texas Hill Country and beyond. Here are our local favorites:

Whitestone Brewery
www.whitestonebrewery.com
Whitestone Brewery, located in the Railyard Shopping Center in Cedar Park off 1431/Whitestone Blvd., sells a wide variety of beers, such as the popular Cedrela Hefeweizen, Double Hazy IPA, and various pilsners and stouts.

For those who drink wine or other beverages at the brewery, you are in luck! Whitestone offers several white wines, reds, and sparkling options. The Chardonnay and Dolcetto listed are actually local products from Bent Oak Winery, right here in Cedar Park. You can also choose from several varieties of ciders from Austin Eastciders and a few meads.

Bring your appetite as well to sample items like nachos and patty melts from their on-site food truck. Whitestone Brewery can either be the first stop (with the Wild Wild West dance hall and restaurants like Lucy’s Fried Chicken and the Austin Steam Train only steps away) or only stop for some weekend fun. They also host live music and Name That Tune bingo events.

Dig Pub
www.thedigpub.com
Although it’s tucked within a shopping center, the Dig Pub, located at 401 Cypress Creek Rd., Cedar Park, holds its own as a purveyor of craft beers and boutique wines. You can also purchase from a wide selection of white, red, sparkling, and dessert wines, either by the glass or bottle, and mead and cider. Order from their extensive menu of appetizers, sandwiches, salads, wraps, and burgers. One of their signature appetizers is the Scotch eggs – hard-boiled eggs rolled in sausage, breaded, and then fried. They even serve as a meeting space for local beer and home-brew clubs.

Red Horn Coffee and Brewing
www.redhornbrew.com
By day, Red Horn Coffee and Brewing, located at 131010 West Parmer Ln., Cedar Park, is filled with the aroma of coffee and views of people working from their laptops or catching up with friends. By night, you can get the best of both worlds of drinking coffee and their house-brewed beer varieties, such as lagers, hefeweizens, IPAs, coffee stouts, pilsners, and ales.

Try one of their locally sourced baked goods, sandwiches, cheese plates, and salads for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Bent Oak Winery
www.bentoakwinery.com
Bent Oak Winery, located at 2000 Windy Ter., Suite 2B, Cedar Park, transports you to wine country without a drive or flight to Sonoma or even the Texas Hill Country!

Their wide variety of wines originate from areas in the Texas Panhandle, Brenham (the home of Blue Bell ice cream), and parts of the Sonoma Valley in California.

Visitors can experience all the steps involved in processing their grapes while visiting their working winery and tasting room or by scheduling a private event. You can even join their wine club at no cost. You just pay for the wine bundles, you receive in batches of three or six, plus shipping and handling if you are unable to pick them up.

The Grove Wine Bar
www.grovewinebar.com
In addition to serving up amazing pizza and other delicious dishes, The Grove Wine Bar in Cedar Park is the perfect setting to kick back, have a glass of wine and enjoy the surroundings. With dozens of red, white, and sparkling options (including flights, glasses, and bottles) along with specialty cocktails like margaritas and frosés, it’s a favorite of Cedar Park and Avery Ranch residents. You can also check out their other locations in the Austin area such as Austin-Downtown, Lakeway, and Westlake.
