Just 45 minutes “up the hill” is the North Carolina High Country! Start with Tweetsie Railroad and take in the Blowing Rock. Enjoy the quaint downtown areas in Blowing Rock and Boone. Explore the parks and trails around Linville, Grandfather Mountain and Banner Elk. Golf in the summer, and ski in the winter! We know that there is too much to do in one day, but it's fine...
