Kirkland Wine Walk
Grab your tickets, and join the Kirkland Chamber of Commerce and Kirkland Downtown Association as they bring in some of Washington’s finest wine producers and breweries. Sip, stroll, and shop with friends around downtown Kirkland on this wine adventure. The event begins at the Heathman Hotel from 6:00-9:00 pm. The Kirkland Wine Walk also takes place in the months of June, October, and November.

Kirkland Shamrock Run
The Kirkland Shamrock Run is a fun 5K road run beginning at Marina Park, celebrating Kirkland, healthy living, and St. Patrick’s Day. Join crowds of Irish culture enthusiasts to run or walk through downtown Kirkland benefiting local nonprofits each year.

Kirkland Easter Egg Hunt
Join in the fun as almost 500 pounds of eggs are scattered around Peter Kirk Park each year around Easter. Different areas of the park are designated for specific age groups, making sure that fun is had by all.

Rose Revival
Rose Revival takes place in the beautiful Olympic Tent at Woodmark Hotel. The event allows attendees to meet a variety of Northwest winemakers, and features a wide array of dry Washington Rose and white wines. Relax and sip tasty rose on the beautiful deck at Woodmark Hotel on the waterfront of Lake Washington while watching the sun set over the Olympic Mountains. Tasty treats are provided by the Woodmark Hotel.

7 Hills of Kirkland
A Memorial Day ride that starts and finishes at Marian Park is approximately 40 miles long and about 3,000 feet of climbing. It loops around Kirkland and offers a 60- and 100-mile ride option. The ride benefits Attain Housing and their efforts to end homelessness.

Virginia Mason Mother’s Day 5K and Half Marathon
The Virginia Mason Mother’s Day 5K and Half Marathon both take participants on a tour of the boroughs of Kirkland’s waterfront. The half marathon follows a route that starts at the campus of Northwest University and finishes at Juanita Beach Park, featuring more than five miles along the Cross Kirkland Corridor Trail. The runs benefit in part Girls on the Run of Puget Sound.

Summer Sailing Series
Starting every Friday from the first Friday in June through the last Friday in August, you get the opportunity to compete in an amateur sailing race every Friday of the summer.

Kirkland Wednesday Market
The Kirkland Wednesday Market brings local produce and goods from area to downtown Kirkland all summer long. The Market begins in June and runs through October each Wednesday from 3:00-7:00 pm at the Marina Park in Kirkland.

Evening Summer Concerts
A great free summer concert series for adults and youngsters alike, The Evening Summer Concerts is hosted by the Kirkland Downtown Association beginning the first Thursday in July through the third Thursday in August from 7:00-9:00pm. The concerts take place in Marina park and are free to attend.

Kids Summer Concerts
Keep the kids entertained in the summer with a family-friendly, free outdoor concert. The concerts are held each Tuesday beginning the first Tuesday in July through the third Tuesday in August, from 10:00-11:00 am at Juanita Beach Park.

Kirkland Uncorked
Kirkland Uncorked is a weekend-long wine festival in Marina Park celebrating world-class Washington wineries and benefits Homeward Pet Adoption. The festival features a 21+ tasting garden featuring live music, a Friday Burger Brawl and Saturday Gill-Off. You will also find a Street Fair with a Boat Show, Uncorked Market, CityDog Dog Modeling Contest and Saturday Food Truck Feast.

Junior Softball World Series

Kirkland Waterfront Car Show
One of the largest car-show events on the Eastside, the Kirkland Waterfront Car Show showcases hundreds of gorgeous cars displayed throughout Marina Park and downtown Kirkland. There is entertainment, family-friendly activities, and food trucks. The event is free to attend.

SEPTEMBER

Tall Ship Adventures
Grays Harbor Historical Seaport Authority brings a fantastic opportunity to see the states tall ship Lady Washington by providing a stop in Kirkland. While in Kirkland, the tall ship offers a unique historical experience with a two- or three-hour Adventure Sail where you will experience sailing as done for hundreds of years.

Crossing Kirkland
A for-neighbors-by-neighbors block party along the Cross Kirkland Corridor has become an annual hit. With food trucks, games, craft projects, community organizations, a climbing wall and more, participants bike, walk, and take advantage of city-provided shuttles to see the whole event.

OCTOBER

Sail Gating
Catch a ride on an Argosy Cruise ship from Chinook’s Dawg Boar across Lake Washington to attend University of Washington home football games in October and November. Tickets can be bought for a single boat ride or a season boat pass.

Pumpkins in the Park & Downtown Trick or Treating
This festival is filled with food booths, games, treats and more. Children are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costume and compete in the costume contest and then head off to the downtown shops to load up on candy.

Turkey Trot
The Turkey Trot is a 5K run from Marina Park to Carillon Point and back, open to both runners and walkers.

Lake Washington Half Marathon
This USA Track and Field-certified half marathon stretches throughout Kirkland   showcasing the best of Kirkland’s scenery. The marathon begins and ends at Juanita Beach Park and also features the City’s Cross Kirkland Corridor.

DECEMBER

12K’s of Christmas
Bring the entire family for this fun holiday event! Run or run/walk either a 12K or 5K course that loops through beautiful Kirkland. There is even a Kid Dash for the kiddos. Hosted by The Snohomish Running Company the annual Christmas run starts and finishes in Maria Park in downtown Kirkland.

Christmas Ship
From late November to December 23, Argosy Christmas Ship sails to different Puget Sound waterfront locations joined by other lighted boats. The public is invited to gather on the shore of local waterfront parks such as Marina Park, Houghton Park and O O Deny Park to view the ships and listen to the ship’s choir sing.

WinterFest
Winterfest celebrates the holiday season with activities for the kids, bonfires, a visit from Santa, entertainment, and the annual tree-lighting brought to you by the Kirkland Downtown Association. There is even a sledding hill with real snow! Winterfest is free to attend and family-friendly.

Google Lights
Google and SRM Development create a wonderland of thousands of colored lights along the Cross Kirkland Corridor. Opening ceremony festivities include food, petting zoo, carolers, and games.
