Stock Show and Rodeo is a Western-style event with a rich history that started in 1896. It takes place annually at Dickies Arena in January and February. It is known for the slogan "This Thing Is Legendary" and runs for 23 days. They have livestock and horse shows, trade shows, a carnival and midway, professional rodeo competitions, live music, kid-friendly activities and exhibits, and great food.

Main Street Arts Festival is a free annual event in April. Hand-selected artists from all over the nation exhibit their pieces for prospective buyers. Bring the whole family and enjoy live music, local cuisine, wine tastings, craft beer, and the "TCC Maker Zone," where kids can make their creations.

Mayfest is a 4-day annual festival on the first weekend in May at Trinity Park. The event has live music, performing arts, children's activities, carnival rides, and festival food. It is also known for its annual Mayfest run and youth art contest.

Fourth of July in Fort Worth is unique because we host the largest fireworks show in North Texas, held at Panther Island Pavilion on The Trinity River. Grapefest is the home of over 400 wineries and is the largest wine festival in the southwest that celebrates Texas wine. This annual event is held in September in the heart of Grapevine, Texas. The kids can have fun at the carnival, midway, and Kidz Zone while the parents enjoy the live music and wine experiences.

State Fair of Texas is an annual event held at Fair Park Historic District in Dallas since 1886 and home to the beloved 52-foot cowboy, Big Tex. The fair opens on the last Friday of September and runs for 24 days. Guests enjoy fun events, music concerts, live shows, adorable barnyard animals, the midway, the massive Ferris wheel known as the Texas Star, creative arts, and famous fried foods.

As the sun goes down, festive crew members with their boats decked out in Christmas lights hit the parade route to visit destinations around the lake for spectators to enjoy.

Christmas Tree Lighting happens in November in Downtown Fort Worth at Sundance Plaza. This winter wonderland event has live music, festive Christmas decorations, and Santa Claus in his sleigh, ready to see all the good boys and girls. The main attraction in the ceremony is when they flip the switch, and the towering community Christmas tree becomes lit.

Fort Worth Parade of Lights in December, hosted by GM Financial, follows the Christmas tree lighting ceremony. Businesses, nonprofit organizations, cultural groups, and schools delight the spectators with their illuminated floats along with carolers, marching bands, vintage automobiles, and horse-drawn carriages to celebrate the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus.
