Happenings in Pickerington!

The City of Pickerington and Violet Township unite as an attractive, historical community with strong farming roots and a business-friendly outlook. Violet Township was incorporated in 1808. The name “Violet” was selected because of the abundance of violet-colored wildflowers blooming in the area.

Conveniently accessed by U.S. Route 33 and I-70, Pickerington and Violet Township are easy to find. Once you are here, you quickly learn why residents love it: exceptional schools, a safe environment, the fabulous beauty of Pickerington Ponds, many parks and recreational opportunities, and family-friendly events for every season.
