The Arizona Diamondbacks facility at Salt River Fields is off of the 101 and Pima and an excellent way to spend a March afternoon. Parada del Sol Rodeo

For equestrian enthusiasts, this annual event at WestWorld does not disappoint. This three-day rodeo and cultural event welcomes spectators each year to enjoy the wildly entertaining eight-second ride along with a parade and trails end festival through Old Town Scottsdale. Parada del Sol is a non-profit corporation that provides financial and volunteer support to charities that provide health care, resources and community programs for those that are underserved.

The Parada del Sol Historic Parade has been a Scottsdale, AZ, tradition since 1953. The streets of Old Town Scottsdale welcome over 30,000 spectators and nearly 150 Parade entries marching down Scottsdale Road. Beginning immediately after the Parade, The Trail’s End Festival is a huge block party for all ages, featuring live concerts, food, and fun.
 
Scottsdale International Film Festival

For over a decade, attendees have been treated to a lineup of quality films and programming. The festival will showcase up to 25 films from a variety of countries, originating from both first-time and seasoned filmmakers. The Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships

Each year, the city of Scottsdale welcomes The Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships, an event full of fashion, music, sport and more. The event contains three separate polo matches spaced out throughout the day. In between each match, spectators can enjoy the world’s “longest” fashion show, a dog fashion show, food vendors, classic cars from Barrett-Jackson and local artist showcase. All of that, topped off with a post-polo concert, this event is thrilling for the whole family.

The free, large-scale public art event – known for its annual, splashy takeover of the Scottsdale Waterfront – is returning this year, albeit in a different format. Taking place Nov. 6-Nov. 15, the outdoor event organized by Scottsdale Public Art will feature nine large-scale art installations and with social distancing in mind, these eye-catching works will be located across the entire Old Town Scottsdale area. Visitors can pick up or download a map, and drive, walk or bike the route to discover each piece. Then, the event continues virtually, with live music, workshops and artist talks online. 
 
Barrett-Jackson Auction

A classic event full of classic cars and timeless memories, the Barrett-Jackson Auction drives into Scottsdale every year. This auction features some of the most classic cars available for looking and bidding to anyone and everyone. The event will also be shown on both FYI and HISTORY channels.
