Camp DCL
During school breaks, kids ages 4-12 can discover new activities, express their creativity, and build confidence all while having fun at Camp DCL. These weeklong camps let kids explore hands-on activities like cooking and baking, coding, science experiments, engineering, art, LEGO adventures, and more. Meeting Rooms 
The library offers ideal event spaces for business meetings, corporate functions, and social events right in your neighborhood. The public meeting rooms and study spaces, as well as indoor and outdoor event spaces, feature comfortable furniture, high-end technology, and an array of hospitality service options to meet the unique needs of the community. Birthday Parties
Birthday celebrations are extra-special at DCL. The library’s customized parties blend the love of stories and play for kids ages 2-7 and include a dedicated party planner, themed party décor, age-appropriate activities, a gift book for the birthday girl or boy, a lollipop bouquet, and more. Summer Reading 
Summer Reading encourages kids of all ages to have fun with reading during school breaks. DCL’s annual celebration includes community activities and events, trackable reading goals, friendly challenges, sign-up prizes, and rewards that make reading less work and more fun. Entertaining Events
Library customers look to DCL for exceptional events throughout the year. Storybook Holiday events are a delightful celebration of literature for families, with characters from beloved stories, themed crafts, catered food and drinks, and lively entertainment. Fairy Tale Ball is a magical experience for kids, bringing favorite fairy tales to life. And author events provide book lovers with up-close and personal experiences with bestselling, nationally known authors. Interactive Children’s Spaces
The U-Fix-It Pit Stop is a museum-quality play auto shop featuring a standalone, lift-mounted car and playful facets of a real-life auto shop. Working from the shop toolbox and service desk, kids can get under the hood to add faux fluids, change the air filter, and check the battery and oil level. Using the provided creeper, they can roll under the vehicle to replace the muffler and tailpipe, change lug nuts and tires, and have fun swapping out vanity plates and bumper stickers. 
 
The Recording Studio
DCL’s Parker location is home to the Recording Studio, where customers can use state-of-the-art software and equipment to create, record and edit music, videos, family histories, and more; conduct podcasts and interviews; create instructional or marketing tools; craft dynamic school projects; and more.
