Spring 

Pittsburgh Wrestling Classic (March) 
The Pittsburgh Wrestling Classic, often dubbed "The Rose Bowl of High School Wrestling," will showcase the best men and women wrestlers in Western Pennsylvania in March at Peters Township High School. A feature match will serve as the Best on Best main event, with wrestlers from across the United States challenging the reigning Pennsylvania state champions. The event receives 2,500 spectators annually and the proceeds will benefit undeserved children at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania. www.papowerwrestling.com/pittsburgh-wrestling-classic

Kids Fest (March) 
Kids Fest 2025 will be held at Washington Crown Center from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. A free, fun-filled day of the entire family, Kids Fest features an interactive singalong plus meet and greets from Royal Princess Engagements, an educations presentation from Wild World Animals, the Mascot Mashup race, local non-profits providing resources for families, healthy activities, shopping and more. www.kidsfestpa.com

The National Road Pike Days Festival (May)
Proudly known as the "world's longest festival," The National Road Pike Days Festival will take place along 90 miles of Historic National Road (Route 40) spanning through Somerset, Fayette and Washington Counties. The annual even celebrates the historical road and features of blend of activities for adults and children. Included in the festival is a blend of history, music, arts & crafts, food, children's activities, fireworks and an authentic wagon train. Period clothing will be worn by many but is not required. Greater Pittsburgh Food Truck Festival (May)
Two of America's favorite pastimes -- gambling and eating -- will converge for a foodie's delight at Hollywood Casino at the Meadows. For three days, The Greater Pittsburgh Food Truck Festival will transform the Hollywood Casino into a culinary road map. More than 50 of the regions best food trucks will be in attendance, along with plenty of live music and entertainment. Craft beer, wine, regional artisans and vendors, plus much more will be included. It's a weekend that local food lovers won't want to miss. www.pghfoodtruckfest.com

Summer 

Peters Township Community Day (June)
Peters Township will celebrate its annual Community Day for the 45th time. The celebration will take place at Rolling Hills Park on June 28th beginning at 11 am. Just after sunset at 9:30 p.m., a fireworks celebration will finish off the evening in style. In between, fun for the entire family will be on display. There will be an array of food, crafts, games, a beer garden and exhibit booths.  www.peterstownship.com

Fleatique on the Mon (June)
The annual MACC Fleatique on the Mon will take place, rain or shine, in early June. This is a beloved street sale along Main Street in Monongahela and New Eagle that is always a big hit. You can find a number of crafters, a flea market and antique dealers on 3rd St. And that's not the only bit of fun you'll find along the way of the street sale that encompasses 1.5 miles of wonderful shores and sales. www.monongahelaareachamber.org

Greater Canonsburg 4th of July Celebration (July)
Few cities offer a 4th of July celebration like Canonsburg, where the day-long celebration has become a must-visit tradition. The festivities begin early in the morning with the annual Whiskey Rebellion 5 K race & walkers event, and don't stop until after sunset, when a fabulous fireworks show will dazzle the entire family. A parade on Pike St., food, games and activities for the entire family mark what has become among Washington County's most popular events.

Whiskey Rebellion Festival (July)
Brought to you by the Bradford House Historical Celebration, come to 139 S. Main St. in Washington in July to celebrate the Whiskey Rebellion Festival. A whiskey and spirits walk, street theater, living history on Main, music, shopping and food and drink all make up what has become not only an enjoyable but also a historically relevant celebration that pays homage to one of America's most famous events. Washington County Agriculture Fair (August)
An event unlike any other, the Washington County Agriculture Fair will take place for the 226th consecutive year when it's hosted at the Washington County Fairgrounds & Expo Center in August. Live music, food, games, animals, rides, fun for adults and children will all be part of the spectacle that has marked a summer tradition for Washington County for more than two centuries. Almost 7,000 youth and craft exhibits will be featured along with more than 2,000 animals and 2,600 agricultural exhibits. www.washingtonfair.org

Corks & Kegs (August)
Corks & Kegs is Washington County's premier craft beer festival and has become an annual summer hit in Washington County. This year's event will take place at Hollywood Casino and we hope you'll join us for the 10th anniversary of this festival. The two-day event is free to enter and packed with dozens of activities. There will be food trucks, live entertainment, a classic car cruise and much more. While this is a family friendly event, only those who are 21 and older may enter the beer and wine tents. www.corksandkegsfestival.com 

Pony League World Series (August)
The Pony League World Series is held every summer in Washington and is one of the biggest and most important youth baseball tournaments in the world.  Each August this grand event features many of baseball's future stars.  Attendees receive an education on the history of the Pony League World Series at the Pony League World Series Museum located at the PONY Baseball and Softball International Headquarters. Come to Washington to enjoy a celebration of baseball this summer. Washington has hosted this event since 1981.  www.plws.org

Fall

Covered Bridge Festival (September)
You are invited to the annual Washington and Greene Counties' Covered Bridge Festival taking place September at nine different covered bridges. Historical re-enactments, homestyle foods, arts & crafts and activities for the entire family will be part of the celebration at nine different covered bridges over the weekend.  Parking and admission is free. Sites included in the celebration include the McClurg, Pine Bank, Brownlee, Wyit Sprowls, Hughes, Ebenezer, Henry, Carmichaels and the White Bridges. www.visitwashingtoncountypa.com/covered-bridge-festival

West Alexander Fair (September) 
Celebrated each September, the West Alexander Fair is a popular country fair that includes fun for the entire family. There will be an abundance of agricultural and livestock exhibits, a fair queen, tractor pulls, truck pulls, antique machinery, body, chainsaw carving, demolition derby, live entertainment, amusement rides and much more. The fair is held annually at 116 Rt. 40 West in West Alexander. www.westalexfair.com

West Alexander Scare Fair (October) 
You are invited to West Alexander on Friday and Saturday nights in October for the annual West Alexander Scare Fair. The Halloween celebration takes place at West Alexander Park and, while it isn't recommended for children under 8, all other children and adults are invited for a memorable evening. A scary time is promised for adults while all children in attendance will be welcome to partake in two different escape rooms. This will mark the 13th annual West Alexander Scare Fair. www.wascarefair.com

PA Arts & Crafts Christmas Festival (October) 
Christmas lovers will unite at the Washington County Fairgrounds in October to prepare for the holiday season. Many of the regions most talented artists and craftsmen will be displaying their finest Christmas work including whimsical seasonal décor, functional and decorative wood, embellished clothing, personalized Christmas ornaments, seasonal floral arrangements, stained glass, jewelry, scented candles and soaps, unique gift items, paintings and prints, knitted items, personalized signs, pet treats and collars, purses and more. Witchfest (October) 
Just in time for Halloween, WitchFest will be held in Monongahela each year. The event will be held at the Monongahela Aquatorium. This is a celebration of all things witchy, showcasing live music, food trucks from all over Washington County, plus more than 50 vendors selling various oddities, curiosities and other witchy wares. Contests for best cackle, best dressed witch and best hat will take place. Dressing up in witch attire isn't mandatory but is very much encouraged. www.monaquatorium.com/witchfest-2025

Winter 

Christmas in the Village Craft & Food Festival (November)
Visit over 50 crafters as you stroll through the quaint village of Eldersville. The festivities include a parade, a visit from Santa, food, bake goods and a chili cookoff. www.christmasinthevillagepa.com

Canonsburg's Old Fashioned Christmas (December)
More than 30,000 visitors annually attend this special Christmas celebration. This event has been recognized by VisitPA.com as one Pennsylvania's most "Hallmark movie-esque" locations. Expect a magical experience that includes a Christmas market, food court, tree lighting, activities for children and so much more. This has become a spectacle for Canonsburg residents, members of surrounding communities and for visitors from afar. Trax Farm Winter Wine Festival (February) 
The annual Trax Farm Winter Wine Festival has become a favorite event at one of Western Pennsylvania's favorite farms. A $25 ticket includes wine sampling, access to food trucks, live music and a souvenir glass for sampling. This is an event that requires attendees to be 21 or older. A portion of all ticket sales to this event benefit the St. John XXIII Interfaith Food Pantry.

FALL FUN FACT
Washington County is home to many festivals that celebrate the beauty and abundance of fall! Some additional events you won't want to miss include the Pennsylvanian Bavarian Oktoberfest in Canonsburg, the Cecil Township Fall Festival, the Hickory Apple Festival and the Houston Pumpkin Festival.
